| Unified Communications Center Background
The UCC facility, located on the East Campus of the St. Elizabeths Hospital site, consolidates the "command and control" functions of the Office of Unified Communications (OUC), including:
- Police
- Fire
- Emergency Medical Services
- Emergency Management Agency
- Public Services
The following agencies and companies worked to develop the facility:
- Project was implemented by the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO), Washington, DC
- UCC Project Architect was DMJM Design, Rosslyn, VA
- Technical Systems Design was developed by Northrop Grumman Commercial Systems, Reston, VA
- Construction Bid Package 1 (Site Clearing/Relocation) was completed by Clark Construction Group, LLC, Bethesda, MD
- Construction Bid Package 2 (Site Work, Grading, Site Utilities) was completed by Clark Construction Group, LLC, Bethesda, MD
- Construction Bid Package 3 (Remaining Construction Work) was completed by the Jair Lynch/Tompkins Joint Venture, Washington, DC
- Construction Management firm was Jacobs Engineering
