(Washington, DC) The Office of Unified Communications will host the Second Annual OUC Communications Rally on Thursday June 23rd. The event will educate and showcase the assets and capabilities that exist to promote interoperability and effective communications among public safety and government organizations. During the event, OUC’s new 911 call simulation lab will be unveiled. Demo sessions will highlight Next Generation 311 and 911, Radio on Android & iPhone devices, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) Mobile Apps, and more.
“Our agency is at the forefront of employing systems to help our public safety users communicate more effectively,” said OUC Director Karima Holmes. “New technologies are emerging almost daily, and we have to be able to integrate them in ways that serve our first responders and, ultimately, keep the public safe.”
