Details:

Smart911 is a free service that allows citizens across the US to create a Safety Profile for their household that includes any information they want 9-1-1 to have in the event of an emergency. Through a citywide awareness campaign for seniors during National Preparedness Month, the Office of Unified Communications and the DC Office on Aging will educate seniors at sites in each ward of the city on the importance of setting up a Smart911 profile. In addition, social workers will create profiles for clients as part of the intake process.
