This Kim Turner, LLC course is designed for public safety dispatchers and call-takers or sworn police officers and provides a three-dimensional view to the role of public safety dispatchers in critical incidents by exploring natural, criminal, and tactical events through the perspective of dispatchers and field operations.Under the instruction provided by a qualified instructor(s) each student will:

• Demonstrate their understanding of a critical incident and the impact on dispatch operations
• Identify resources and officer safety considerations during a critical incident.
• Analyze a critical incident case study and create checklists or resource guide for dispatch operations.
• Identify resources regarding stress and emotional health related to critical incidents.
