This course provides a basic understanding of the roles and responsibilities of an incident dispatcher working in a tactical environment. It is intended to provide a realistic, hands-on approach to mastering the tasks and skills of an incident dispatcher and is designed for experienced dispatchers who are familiar with the Incident Command System (ICS) and dispatch operations. The course is four (4) days and includes a hands-on exercise on the third and fourth day.
